Dental technologist and Technician Specific Skills Shape impressions and reproduce dentures, Prepare and fabricate dentures, Fabricate dental devices, Repair dental devices


Laboratory Bench Worker Specific Skills Prepare plaster models and moulds, Mould wax over packed moulds, Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays, Pack moulds to form dentures, Polish and buff dentures


Security and Safety Confidential security clearance, Criminal record check


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Essential Skills Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others
