Title: Nursing supervisor (Associate Clinical Team Leader)  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Evening

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home for the aged


Area of Specialization: Geriatrics


Specific Skills: Supervise registered nurses, nursing assistants and other nursing personnel, Co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services, Ensure that quality nursing care is provided and that appropriate administrative procedures are followed, Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures


Additional Skills - 2: Ensure availability of supplies and equipment, Assist in the selection, evaluation and professional development of personnel


Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
