Title: Registered dental technician  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: $5,000.00 Monthly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Calgary South West, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure by the provincial or territorial governing body


Experience: 5 years or more


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Area of Technical Expertise: Plastering, Packing, Set-up, Waxing-up, Casting, Polishing


Area of Specialization: Crowns and bridges, Ceramic or porcelain application, Gold dies and goldwork


Dental technologist and Technician Specific Skills: Fabricate dental devices, Repair dental devices


Laboratory Bench Worker Specific Skills: Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases


Additional Skills: Train and supervise other dental technicians or dental laboratory bench workers, Perform supervisory and administrative functions for the dental laboratory, Maintain and order supplies, Supervise students in training


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing
