Salary: $24.00 to $29.00 Hourly for 36 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits, Medical Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Calgary North West, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Membership in the Canadian Dental Assistants Association, Registration with provincial or territorial authorities


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years


Languages: Speak English


Work Setting: Specialty dental practice


Area of Specialization: Intra-oral procedures, Radiography


Specific Skills: Prepare patients for dental examinations, Sterilize and maintain instruments, Advise patients on oral hygiene, Record information on patient care


Additional Skills: Schedule patient appointments, Order dental and office supplies


Security and Safety: Basic security clearance


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
