Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required


Experience: No experience


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Office of health care professional


Therapy Assistant Specific Skills: Provide support services to health care professionals, Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies


Chiropractic Office Assistant Specific Skills: Assist chiropractor with patient health education, Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation, Order supplies and equipment, Assist chiropractor with physical examinations, Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments


Additional Skills: Maintain records and inventories of supplies, Order supplies and equipment, Schedule appointments, Collect statistics, Perform general clerical duties


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
