Health Care Job Intercare Nurse aide in Calgary

Title: Intercare Nurse aide (Nursing Assistant)  

Terms of Employment: Casual, Part Time, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

Salary: $16.22 to $19.06 Hourly for 20 hours per week, Other Benefits, As per collective agreement

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Calgary, Alberta (3 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Nursing or convalescent home


Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, Answer call signals


Additional Skills: Supply and empty bed pans, Serve meal trays and feed patients, Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, Maintain inventory of supplies


Security and Safety: Basic security clearance


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
