Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Weekend, Day

Location: Calgary South West, Alberta (2 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial or territorial professional association


Experience: No experience


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Rehabilitation centre, Nursing home


Area of Specialization: Recreational therapy


Specific Skills: Interview patients and review reports from health care professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels, Prepare a treatment plan for each patient, Implement treatment plans, Observe and analyze patients during treatment sessions, Record observations, write progress reports and consult with other health care professionals to evaluate treatment plans, Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs
