Title: Sisters Care Home Nursing assistant (QC)  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend

Salary: $14.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Calgary, Alberta (4 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Basic cardiac life support (BCLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home for the aged, Nursing or convalescent home


Area of Specialization: Geriatrics, Rehabilitation unit, Public and community health


Registered Nursing Assistant Specific Skills: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Distribute medication to patients, Change patients' dressings, Bathe and dress patients


Additional Skills: Monitor patients' progress and report any changes


Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Walking

Other Information:Will assist clients to doctor's appointments, help in social & rehab activities, housekeeping, cooking, & laundry. To help the disabled, elderly & brain injured.
